jÄgarna.tf2 are slowly waking up after the long summer. Today we play our first game with a full lineup since sometime in April, the game was vs itsafarm (div1 etf2l) and we did reasonably good (2-3 at badlands, 0-4 or so at granary). We also played vs starLike where we tied gravelpit and won badlands(5-2).
As we just before the summer lost 3 players due to our inactivity, we have taken in a new trial member named Lazybow. His main role is scout, but he is a jack of all trades who players soldier, spy and medic when needed. We are still looking for one or perhaps 2 extra players, contact sajh if interested.
In tradition with the old Aq2-scene, jÄgarna.tf2 have since a few months been inactive.
We expect to be back and kicking in august/september or so, perhaps a bit earlier depending on weather. During this inactivity we lost Osten and got rid of Fanva, also Sc0 is at a summer camp in hb0da. As expected we lost our games in etf2l due to walkovers and such, and ended up last . Next season will begin somewhere in august i think, where we once again will be battling it out in div 3. Also Pace showed his uberskills and became back up heavy in ye Swedish tf2-team, congrats.
Our inactivity continues as we havent played a pcw in about 1,5 month or so, also sajh has stepped down from the clan and joined the rank of inactive players. Leyfi is back however.
As of this it is pretty clear that we need 1 more player. If you are interested in joining our merry crew, feel free to have a chit-chat with sajh or Osten.
Not much has been heard from the tf2 section lately, much of this can be blamed on a damned ball of fire. The ball, also known in some religions as "the sun", tend to allow for such activities as disc golf(angra) and massive outdoor beer drinking(sajh, as opposed to the massive indoor beer drinking during the winter months).
Our activity has decreased rapidly, our results are beyond weak and it was time to have a meeting regarding our future efforts in the game. We decided to lay down some ground rules regarding activity and tried to schedule at least 2 days where we do some kind of organized gaming.
Since the last real update we have had some lineup changes, shjuv is inactive and will only play "in case of emergency" much like our old heroes rokky and vipeout . swetur decided to leave j.tf2 due to some clan issues, but is still our bitch to use freely whenever we need a player. But in a week or so our beloved leader will return to set everything straight, thats right.. Leyfi is coming home!
As mentioned before, our results have gone down the drain and our reasonably high, yet realistic, expectations for ETF2L Season 2 seem now unreachable. We expected to gather a total of 12 points in our first 4 games, but only managed to get 4. We know we can do better than this. We still have a small chance to stay in div2, but it will be tricky.
It is time to once and for all see who sucks the least! Scout and Soldier are the classes included in this intense clash. The rules are simple, 10 minutes at dm_idac_v2, the player with the least amount of kills will emerge the winner. In case of a tie, a tiebreaker round is played where both players start from spawn. mp_respawnwavetime should be set to 0.

The TF2-lan is over, shortlived but fun, we expect more of these gathering in the future. If anyone cares enough to wonder why we rarely add any games on our page, we have decided only to add official games from now on. And scores will be added in map-wins rather than roundwins

Today is a big day! The gothenburg-part in the tf2part has arranged a minibootcamp! It's at angra 's and damn our guns are loaded. Atleast I have high thoughts about playing nonstop matches due to my movingproject and all. Looking forward to meet up with a few new faces (rikke and sajh ). Let's see if they are as tough as they are on ventrilo... Atleast when it comes to rikke lyl. Anyway looking forward to meet you dudes!
The aq2 squad is currently inactive and we're not recruiting anyone, for now. My superhomie Misse is currently playing in pr0, and I bet he likes his stay. Otherwise it's all normal, we're not down and we will never be. But as poor as the scene is, there's currently no interrest from most of our lineup and therefor, this is the best solution. We will certainly be back, only time will tell.
I've been starting to look around for t-shirts with an including "you-may-pick-your-own-stamp". I mean, j has been up since 2001 and yet we havn't had any tshirts with our signatures. Buuu...

After some problems with the domain, the page is finally back. Sadly some results have been lost in the meanwhile.
Since our last update we finished the first season of ETF2L where we by 4 consecutive wins managed to grap the 3rd place in the league leading to our promotion to the second division. Also, this comeback was recognized by the admins and we were nominated for the award "Most surprising team", a vote which we came to win. We are looking forward to the next season in which our goal is to stay put in the second division.
We also started to play a bit more actively in the ESL 6on6 Ladder where we after our initial 2 losses managed to win 4 games in a row. We are currently ranked 7th in the ladder. ETF2L also hosted a second cup, in which we first defeated the italian Gladiatores.QuaD but were eliminated by Clan UNited in the second round.
Swedish clan hb0da are hosting a small league which we joined, and we also joined the second season of Online Gamer League.
So all in all, jÄgarna.tf2 are still alive and kicking. Our teamplay is improving by every game and we still pretty much join every league and tournament we can get our hands on.
Once again we have had some changes. First off, Fanva has proven to be a nice guy, active and skilled and was thus promoted to full member. Hw2k from the legendary qwtf-clan [TuC] has awaken from the catacombs deep beneath 2fort and is now once again ready to unleash hell upon the servers. Also, former [.UnSu]-player Osten joined our rank and took the role as primary medic. This allowed our former medic, Sc0 pursue his passion for blowing stuff into smithereens.
These lineup changes now officially ends our active member recruiting.
We have played a couple of league matches with mixed result, we won our first game in ETF2L vs the Swedish clan [slackerz]. We participated in the Swedish ESL Masters Series Qualifier and placed 5th. And after a valiant effort vs Clan Phonetic we placed 3rd in our TheSGL-group therefor missing the playoffs.
Lately we have also joined the ESL 6 on 6 Ladder, ESL 8 on 8 Starting Cup and the ETF2L Cup 2 and are also awaiting the full ruleset of Wireplay 7on7 League.
Since the last update an additional 3 players have gone inactive. z0 / Leyfi has left for New Zealand for a couple of months, but is expected to rejoin the ranks once returning. Rokky is focusing on Quake 3 currently and Vipeout stopped gaming for a while due to personal reasons.
So jÄgarna found themselves in quite a need of players but salvation was in sight as swetur returned to the squad and will hopefully stick around for a while. Also the squad recruited its first trial, Fanva will try the heat in jÄgarna.tf2 for a while, his main class is scout so he will be a helpful asset to rikke and angra . However, we currently are considering to recruit one last player, preferrebly a soldier. If interested in joining, contact sajh in #j at quakenet.
In other news, thanks to swetur and Fanva we have now been able to start playing some pcws on a more regular basis. The squad as of now is a bit rough, but we are slowly finding our game as we perform reasonably well in our games.
ETF2L is proving to be a quite interesting league, we have only won 1 game out of 4, but have managed to snatch points in all the matches we have participated in. It is too early for our lineup to expect any top rankings in our division, but we are aiming for 4th place at the moment, which ought to be doable.
In TheSGL we ended up in a fairly hard group in which our results so far are 1-5 and a default win, our third and last game will be played this sunday which we will need to win in order to progress to the playoff stage.
